MARKÍ was named in honor of Mike's mother, Markie—a woman whose strength, resilience, and work ethic continue to shape everything we do.

Markie was a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her two sons. She wasn't afraid of hard work. She spent long days on rooftops, taking on physically demanding jobs and making countless sacrifices to ensure her boys had opportunities she never did.

Watching his mother persevere through every challenge taught Mike lessons that no classroom ever could. She showed him that success isn't handed to you—it is earned through grit, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the people you love.

Because of her example, Mike experienced the full journey firsthand—from having very little to building the life he once only dreamed about. Every milestone has been rooted in the values Markie lived out every single day: hard work, humility, perseverance, and doing things the right way.
